Data Puller: turn an article into events with an AI chat

AtlasTrack Update

A new Data Puller source, "Use external AI (no API needed)": copy a prompt into any AI chat, paste the reply back, review every event, then import.

The Data Puller (beta) has a new source: Use external AI (no API needed). It turns an article, such as an encyclopedia or wiki page, into atlases and events, using any AI chat you already use. No API key is needed.

  • Copy the prompt: paste the article link, then copy the ready-made prompt and format into your AI chat.
  • Paste the reply back: press Check reply. AtlasTrack checks that the reply is in the right format and lists any problems. If something is wrong, Copy fix request for the AI gives you a message to send back to the AI.
  • Review every event: untick events you don't want, change their order, and edit titles, descriptions and dates. Dates use simple fields: a year, CE or BCE, and an optional month and day.
  • Import: the ticked events go through the usual Data Puller steps. The article link is saved on every event.

AI tools can make mistakes with dates and facts. AtlasTrack checks the format only, not the dates, the facts or the article's terms of use. Check each event in the review list before importing.

Try it yourself. AtlasTrack is free and runs right in your browser.
